F&B Manager - Iconic Hotel

For an iconic 5-star superior hotel in Brussels, we are looking for an ambitious F&B talent. This impressive hotel has more than 250 rooms and suites, multiple F&B outlets, a beautiful spa, and a great selection of banqueting. Within the company, there is a pleasant atmosphere where teamwork is central. Given the level of the hotel, quality, service and hospitality are key.

As an assistant F&B manager, you together with the F&B manager are responsible for the success of the F&B department. You share the full range of tasks with the F&B Manager, both operationally and administratively, and regularly find yourself on the floor in this position.

Leadership

• leading, motivating, training, and evaluating the F&B team
• dealing with a diverse team of approximately 40 employees
• personnel management and planning in cooperation with the F&B Manager

Control and Quality

• implementing and complying SOPs and agreements
• conducting controls regarding food cost, revenue, P&L, and HACCP
• setting goals in the form of KPIs in consultation with the F&B Manager
• constant monitoring on the floor, ensuring that quality and service are always on point
• ensuring an excellent guest experience

Other

• reporting to the F&B manager and GM
• final responsibility for F&B in the absence of the manager
• duty management: once a month you are responsible for the hotel
• dealing with VIPs, heads of state, international politicians, and celebrities
• contributing ideas for optimizing the department, proposing and developing ideas

We are looking for a candidate with passion, drive, and ownership. Ideally, you have already worked in the higher segment of hospitality or catering. You are familiar with a job description that includes both operational leadership and administrative tasks.

• several years of experience in a leadership position
• fluent in French and English; any other language is a plus
• very communicative, persuasive, and a true people manager
• sociable, cheerful, proactive, and positive attitude
• up-to-date with trends in the field of F&B
