Front Office Manager

The Front Office is the "heart" of the hotel, and it is your responsibility as the Front Office Manager to ensure that this department runs as smoothly as possible. You are in charge of handling reservations, providing service to guests, managing luggage, and overseeing safety.

• provide operational training and supervision of the Front Office team
• personnel schedule based on occupancy
• create internal guidelines and ensure that they are followed
• handle administrative tasks, such as processing reservations, billing, and payments
• together with the Revenue department, you monitor availability and roomrate
• creating budgets, preparing recurring reports, monitoring revue and targeted ratios
• guest satisfaction and the necessary complaint handling
• actively participate in reception duties, lead by example
• responsible for Duty Management

For this position we are looking for an experienced Front Office Manager who is ready for a new challenge. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

• a professional Bachelor's degree, preferably in the hospitality industry
• experience in Front Office and team management
• proficiency in Dutch and English (French is a big plus)
• excellent leadership and people management skills
• ensure a positive and harmonious work environment
• hands-on, operational presence on the work floor and in contact with guests
• strong administrative skills, good knowledge of common PC software and Opera
• creative, communicative and solution-oriented
