For this welcoming company, we are looking for a Hospitality Service Manager. This is a new position in the structure, where you will take on a very broad role. You will act as a link between the managers on the floor and higher management.

In this role, your responsibilities will mainly focus on the following themes:

  • Team Management
    • Evaluating and following up with the managers in their personal development
    • Coordinating projects to improve procedures
    • Providing operational support to the team if needed
    • Guiding, coaching, and developing a team of managers
  • Guest Experience
    • Following up on guest reviews and complaints, turning these into actions
    • Analyzing market trends and responding to them
    • Gathering feedback from employees to improve procedures
    • Implementing and executing change management
  • Communication
    • Participating in and contributing to various management meetings
    • Following up on KPI's to achieve them together with the managers
    • Providing structure to the internal communication lines between the different departments

Profiel

For this vacancy, we are looking for a person with a dynamical personality and several years of experience in a leadership role within a service-oriented environment. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following aspects:

  • You speak fluent Dutch and English - French is definitely a plus.
  • You have experience in the hospitality sector, preferably experience or familiarity with F&B.
  • You are a strong people manager and draw energy from developing your team.
  • You are analytical and numerate and can translate this into concrete operational goals.
  • You are problem-solving and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You are responsible and decisive.
  • You are entrepreneurial and gain energy from building a structure and future vision.

Ideally, you live in Antwerp, so you have a good connection to the 2 locations in Brussels and Amsterdam.

Aanbod

For this role, you will work both in Brussels and in Amsterdam. Your weekly schedule will depend on the activities. Your work hours will primarily be during the week, but in this role, some flexibility is also expected to occasionally work in the evenings or on weekends.

The compensation will align with the experience you can bring. In addition, you will enjoy a nice bonus system and 18 extra vacation days per year.
