Key Account Manager - IT Partner

Duties

In this role, you are an important link between several major clients and the company's services. You think creatively, tackle challenges, and enjoy managing various files. This job is primarily focused on farming and building a good relationship with the client. Of course, you aren't shy about pursuing opportunities and smartly responding to commercial possibilities that arise. Your tasks:

Relationship Management

  • monitoring existing key accounts, focusing on a sustainable collaboration
  • aligning/developing the product with the client based on their needs
  • being the point of contact for questions, adjustments, problems, or complaints
  • occasionally visiting existing clients, preparing offers, negotiating and renewing contracts

Sales

  • securing contracts for new locations from an existing client
  • proactively advising for optimal use of the (new) systems
  • cross- and upselling other products or extensions and options
  • creating price calculations and preparing, presenting, and explaining offers

Administrative & Back-office

  • inventorying the clients' wishes - finding suitable solutions
  • converting offers into internal processes and action points - following up on these
  • working closely with the client's IT manager and internal IT department
  • collaborating with your fellow Sales Managers and reporting to the Managing Director

Profile

for this challenging position, we are looking for a versatile and ambitious candidate with:

  • experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within rooms and a chain such as Marriott, Accor, IHG ...
  • social and communication skills - can build good relationships
  • results-oriented and independent - strong sense of responsibility
  • commercial and financial insight - analytical thinking
  • interest in and affinity with IT and software - pro in Excel
  • fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus
  • driver's license - no trouble regularly visiting the offices in The Netherlands
