Operations Manager - Small Hotel

Duties
As operations manager, you are the driving force behind the daily operations of the hotel. You are responsible for optimal organization and collaboration between all departments, supported by an experienced team at the overarching level: cluster GM, HR manager, reservations & revenue manager, housekeeping manager and event manager.
Your tasks include:
- guest contact & service: you are the face of the hotel and build relationships with regular guests, quickly and efficiently resolving questions and complaints
- front office: you ensure smooth operations and conduct daily checks; when necessary, you step in
- F&B: you ensure quality and hygiene, monitor inventory and orders, and coordinate the M&E
- housekeeping & maintenance: you perform regular checks, communicate with housekeeping, and schedule maintenance
- management: you lead a motivated team of about 10 employees
- hr: you ensure a watertight schedule and prepare the payroll administration
- finances: you import invoices and closely monitor the P&L meetings and KPIs
- flexibility: you are accessible and always ready to solve last-minute issues; if necessary, you step in
- projects: you monitor planned interior renovations and actively promote them via social media
Profile
An experienced and hands-on professional with a passion for high-level hospitality and a keen eye for detail. You possess excellent communication skills and have experience in a leadership role within the hotel industry. You are proactive, responsible, entrepreneurial, resilient under stress, and able to switch quickly in a dynamic environment.
Other profile requirements include:
- bachelor's degree in hotel management or equivalent through experience
- excellent knowledge of Dutch and English; French is a plus
- familiarity with a smaller staff and hotel structure
