Duties

As the F&B manager, you are responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, accurately predicting, planning, and managing F&B orders, staff, and finances. By implementing innovative strategies and maintaining SOPs, you play a key role in driving the success of the F&B department. In this role, you regularly engage on the floor while alternating with more administrative tasks associated with this position.

Objectives and tasks:

• Manage all F&B and daily activities within budget guidelines and according to high standards
• Maintain excellent levels of internal and external customer service
• Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and evaluating talented staff
• Personnel management, planning, and evaluation in collaboration with HR Manager and GM
• Set goals, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures
• Ensure two-way communication and foster a culture emphasizing motivation and teamwork
• Oversee all health and safety regulations
• Report directly to the Operations Manager

Profile

We are seeking a candidate with passion, drive, and ownership. Ideally, you have previously worked in the upscale segment of the hotel or restaurant industry. You are familiar with a role that encompasses both operational leadership and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate can identify with the following:

• Experience in a leadership position overseeing a medium to large team.
• Keeping up-to-date with trends in food and beverage.
• Fluent in English and preferably French.
• Cheerful, proactive, and positive attitude.
• Social and communicative.
• Knowledge of various computer programs, experience with Lightspeed and Opera is a plus.
• Convincing, diplomatic, and a true people manager.
• Attention to detail.
• Goal-oriented and creative.
