Assistent Hotelmanager

This mid-sized hotel is centrally located in the city and has a cool, dynamic, and cozy atmosphere. The clientele consists of a good mix of business and leisure guests, and the young, driven team ensures that each day is a pleasant stay for the guests. There is a cozy dining area, and the concept will be revamped next year.

As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you are responsible for running the daily operations. You ensure a perfect organization of all departments, with a focus on F&B. This coming year, a new concept will be launched, where your input and energy will be largely directed.
Furthermore, you provide the team with support through a wide range of tasks:

• focus on high-quality service and oversee the productivity of the various departments
• responsible for schedules and planning, you are the point of contact for personnel-related matters
• you also regularly spend time on the shop floor and are the point of contact for guests and staff
• recruitment, coaching, guiding, and evaluating the team
• processing invoicing and following up on management administration
• contributing to the strategy and innovation of the hotel

In this role, you are in direct contact with the management team of the entire hotel group.

Furthermore, you possess the following skills:

• several years of experience in hospitality, in a leadership position
• degree in Hotel Management or equivalent through experience
• a true people manager who also enjoys being on the floor
• you are organizationally strong and have a good helicopter view
• quality- and guest-oriented
• you are flexible, hands-on, and independent
  • fluent language skills: English and/or Dutch (French is a plus)
